5 Cosy Switch Games which are Perfect for Autumn (2024)

It is officially Autumn again. The crisp air, cosy jumpers, and warm drinks… There’s no better feeling than snuggling into a blanket after a long day and settling down for a night of cosy games. As many of you may know, the Nintendo Switch is my favourite console to play cosy games, so here are my 5 recommendations for games you can play on your Switches.

Palia

Palia is a vibrant new world made just for you. Craft, cook, fish, and farm with friends as you live the life of your dreams and discover an enchanting adventure filled with colourful characters and a mystery to unravel.

One of my favourite things about Palia is that it is an MMO. Taking part in different events with random people around the world, of even playing with friends is such a lovely experience for this game. Nothing beats an evening of fishing with friends.

Minami Lane

Welcome to Minami Lane! Build your own street in this tiny cozy, casual management sim! Unlock and customize buildings, manage your shops, and maximize the happiness of your villagers to complete quests and fill your street with love!

It is a relatively short game, story wise, however there is a sandbox mode which you can challenge yourself with which gives the game a lot of replay ability.

The Garden Path

A slice-of-life sim about the joy of gardening, designed to be picked up and played in short and sweet bites. Whether you’re fishing, growing, trading, or making new vegetable friends, a wonderful and wistful adventure awaits when wandering The Garden Path.

The Garden Path is very low pressure, and a lovely slice of cosy to add to your day.

Moonstone Island

Moonstone Island is a creature-collecting life-sim set in an open world with 100 islands to explore. Make friends, brew potions, collect Spirits, and test your strength in card-based encounters to complete your Alchemy training!

Moonstone Island feels like a perfect mix of games like Stardew Valley and the collecting aspect of Pokémon which feels very fresh and inspiring.

Coffee Talk 1 + 2

Coffee Talk is a coffee brewing and heart-to-heart talking simulator about listening to fantasy-inspired modern peoples’ problems, and helping them by serving up a warm drink or two.

There is something so calming to me about listening to stories about people’s lives and getting to know them, while also making them the perfect brew. The aesthetics of the game are very pretty and oozes cosiness.
