Lets Look At – Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers

After decades of monster collecting game like Pokémon dominating the market, it is really nice to see an array of indie developers show off their take on this loveable formula. From games like Cassette Beasts to TemTem, there are plenty of fantastic monster collecting games available for people to try, and if you want something a little different then you’re in luck, because Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers is an auto battler.

Created by developers Dino Rocket, and published by FireShine Games, Kādomon: Hyper Auto Battlers is a vibrant roguelike auto-battler that challenges players with assembling a team of monsters and puts your monster battling skills to the test. The usual elements of Fire, Water and Grass types are all represented, with each type of Kādomon being strong against certain others.

When you begin a battle, each of your active Kādomon will let out an attack automatically, aiming for the critters on the front line of the enemy team first. Hovering over any Kādomon before a battle starts will show all the monsters that you can deal extra damage to, while also being able to do the same to the enemies to see how much they’ll hurt your team.

Elemental types aren’t the only aspect of combat, as each Kādomon also has a special effect in battle based on their type. For example, grass types monsters can give themselves regenerating health at the start of battle. Alongside these, you also have the ability to evolve your monsters, with evolved monsters being a lot stronger than their initial forms.

The Early Access release for Kādomon features over 180 unique monsters to battle, tame, collect and evolve. Complete your Kādodex and learn each Kādomon’s unique secret and create awesome synergies to defeat BIG bosses! You can even find rare variations of each monster called Misprints, similar to shinies in Pokémon.
