The People Yearn for Tomodachi Life
It happens whenever a Nintendo Direct is announced, Tomodachi Life trends on Twitter. It is clear that the people yearn for a return to this strange and unusual franchise, but will Nintendo ever give the fans what they want?
But what is Tomodachi Life?
Tomodachi Life is a social simulation video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS, and is the sequel to the Japan-exclusive Nintendo DS title Tomodachi Collection. The game follows the day-to-day interactions of Mii characters, as they build relationships, solve problems, and converse with the player.
The game was released on April 18, 2013 in Japan and June/July the following year in North America, Europe, Australia and South Korea.
Tomodachi Life is an interesting concept for a game because the more you think outside the box, the more fun you can get from the game. It is an amazing way to create unique and interesting scenarios between different Mii characters. The game is honestly a perfect blend of unhinged and cosy.
Using the Mii Creator you can create anyone or anything that your mind can conjure. You could create your friends and family, celebrities, game characters or even a burger. With these creations you can witness absolutely bizarre scenarios that can be very hilarious.
One of the more popular features of the game is The Concert Hall, which allows you to create lyrics for your own songs that your Mii’s can sing in a group or solo. A perfect example of this feature is a song that twitter user Shiny Catherine created asking Nintendo to release the game on Switch.
While the game doesn’t have a set plot or story, the creativity of the game is what has made it such a well loved franchise, and fans want a return!
