Gori: Cuddly Carnage – Hands on Event at Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium

We were recently given the opportunity by Wired Productions, Streamers Connected and Angry Demon Studios to attend Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium in London to have a hands on look at Gori: Cuddly Carnage which will be releasing to PC and consoles in August.

Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a hack and slash action-adventure game developed by indie developer Angry Demon Studio and published by Wired Productions. You play as Gori, a synthetic pet cat who is trying to survive a toy uprising with his pals F.R.A.N.K, a sentient foul-mouthed hoverboard, and CH1-P, a melancholy AI companion.

The cat cafe was decorated amazingly, both for the cats and for the event. The cats had some amazing climbing frames and toys to keep them busy, and for the event, there were posters and decorations around the cafe, and multiple stations ranging from PC to handheld for players to try out the game.

We had access to the first two levels of the game, Wanted: Cat and Crew, and Arcade Hell. Both of these levels were a great introduction to how the game plays and what story will be involved with the game. I can’t talk enough about how smooth the gameplay is and how rocking the soundtrack is.

After some time playing we decided to take a break and try out some of the menu at Lady Dinah’s. They had these amazing cat themed cappuccinos and cat shaped scones. They looked so cute!

We also spent some quality time with all the cats located around the cafe. You could tell how happy and well loved they were as they were very playful but also very relaxed considering the amount of people around.

Thank you again to Wired Productions, Streamers Connected and Angry Demon Studios for the invite to this event. It was an amazing experience and I am  very grateful I was able to be a part of the day.

I hope you will love Gori as much as I do. Gori: Cuddly Carnage will be releasing on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Playstation and Xbox on August 29th 2024. Please wishlist the game on Steam to show support.
